D: Professional power supplier: such as the column head distribution cabinet, PDU professional sellers, you can get professional guidance and help, customized flexibility, configuration specifications, high security, low price, but to separate settlement.
3: What brand of PDU to buy?
A: International brand: complete certification, quality assurance; However, the price is high, the delivery cycle is long, it generally takes 6-8 weeks, the jack form is single, and the compatibility with the equipment plug is poor, it is a standard model product, and it cannot be customized.
B: Domestic high-end brands: complete parts certification, complete factory qualifications, one-by-one factory inspection, medium price (equivalent to 1/3~1/2 of international brands), complete service, high degree of product customization.

How to choose a cabinet power outlet PDU?
First of all, you should first calculate what devices are put in your cabinet (or what devices may be used), and calculate how many jacks are needed. What plugs are the devices? (What plug with what socket, GB2099.3 million socket can use IEC60906 American standard plug and GB1002/10A three-flat plug and BS1363 British standard plug, although GB2099.3 compatibility is good, but in the high current operation, It is best to use a professional supporting socket), only accurate calculation can avoid waste and insufficient.
Second, consider what control and protection functions you want the PDU to have (such as overload protectors, surge protection filtering functions, etc.), how you want to install it in the cabinet (usually standard 19-inch and vertical extension PDUs, etc.), how much space is occupied and how to install it.
Thirdly, through the statistics of the overall rated working status of the equipment in the cabinet, the appropriate value of the PDU should be able to carry power is calculated.
Example 1: Concerns on PDUs in different periods of equipment room construction:
A: Planning period selection: Many equipment room bidding and bidding did not put the PDU and UPS, column head cabinet, cabinet and other equipment as a single column, the PDU parameters are very unclear, and even some only indicate the power strip, which will cause a lot of trouble for the later work: can not match with other equipment, non-standard power distribution, budget is seriously insufficient.
The main reason for this phenomenon is that both bidders are not clear about how to label the PDU requirements.
Here's a simple way to do it:
1) Circuit power of the distribution branch of the front cabinet + safety margin = the sum of power of PDUs on this line
2) Number of devices in a cabinet + safety margin = number of jacks of all PDUs in a cabinet.
If there are two redundant lines, the number of PDUs should be doubled.
3) Distribute high-power devices in different PDUs as far as possible to balance the current of each phase;
4) Customize the PDU pass based on the device plug whose power cord cannot be separated. If the device plug whose power cord can be separated is incompatible, replace the power cord to solve the problem.
5) With high device density in the cabinet, it is advisable to install PDUs with multiple jacks vertically.
Because the device density in the cabinet is low, it is recommended that PDUs be installed horizontally with fewer jacks
Finally, PDU should be given a separate quotation budget to avoid serious budget shortage
B; Installation and commissioning period:
1) The power of the power distribution socket in front of the cabinet must match the power of the distribution branch circuit of the front cabinet and the power distribution unit (PDU). Otherwise, the power specifications will be reduced
2) When installing a horizontal PDU, reserve the PDU installation U bit.
Vertical PDU When installing a cabinet, ensure that the positions of the horizontal plates on the side of the cabinet are consistent with the dimensions of the PDU.
3) The double round European standard plug can not be directly inserted into the multipurpose hole, so the ground will be suspended, very dangerous;
The correct way is to replace the plug or use the embedded European standard jack, and no longer use the European standard to convert the national standard special conversion line.
C: Operation period:
